Niko Easywave 868,3 Mhz

Hi there,

I’ve been using Home Assistant for a couple of months now, together with some Ikea Tradfri lights, Xiaomi sensors, and everything works well. Setup was done on a dedicated Linux server, and HA is running through Docker.

Around the house we have window roller shutters being controlled by Niko devices.
They are connected to a Easywave breaker look-a-like, and the switches are 3v battery operated ones from Niko, with sticky adhesive on the back so they can be put anywhere.

My setups consists of:

  • 2 x CC2531 + external antenna
  • 1 x CC2531
  • Electrolama zig-a-zig-ah! (CC2652R)

Is there a way to make my roller shutters “smart”?
The reason is, that the current setup has 2 of these breakers, and 2 switches, 1 controls ALL** the shutters on the ground floor, the other controls ALL the shutters of the second floor. For the ground floor this is strange because the front and back entry doors are also blocked then. So we can never let all the shutters down when we leave the house, because the doors will be blocked too.

** 3 shutters are controlled each with a individual manual rocker switch

The goal is to make these smart, so I can use the existing switches as-is, and use HA (and the mobile app) to control individual shutters (including the manual ones).
Anybody have some pointers on this?

Side note:
I got some Sonoff wifi mini switches laying around.
I got some Sonoff wifi basic 10A switches laying round (one already running Tasmota).
