No Cog in card for ite,

Hi
I have some items that are not anymore modifiable (both friendly name and antity id): I have no cog in upper left of the card.
Some are zwave some zigbee.
Is there a reason/solution

Have the ones missing the cog been modified recently?

I’ve see where someone has edited the entity in the GUI editor and put capital letters or other incorrect characters in where they shouldn’t and it screws things up.

The fun part is that I have a LOT of items and I somehow adopted a lowercase no other chars standard for renaming entities… with just one exception.

Editing the file in storage to lowercase solved.

Qn: If I delete the entries for one platform they will be recreated . correct?

I’m honestly not sure.

The whole entity registry/storage/config implementation is confusing to me.
