Im still battling to get home assistant working and every time I change my mind on how I should have it setup.
I want to run on a mini pc, preferably with plenty of head room to not have any slowdowns. First Ingot a GMKTEC G10 but could not install HA OS directly due to the network card not being detected. So I in windows on a virtualbox VM. I got it to work but installing addons was slow would take few minutes. So I decided to upgrade and got a GMKtec M6 ultra. Now I was able to install HA OS and everything is fast and smooth. Problem is that I have a touch screen display that I would like to use as a dashboard and from what I found out is that I cannot install no dashboard on the terminal.
Is that accurate? There is no addons or anything to run on HA OS to make it a dashboard?
If so my other option is to go back to windows or use proxmox? What’s the advantages of proxmox over windows?
