No external acces with a reverse proxy (synology) but ok in internal (closed)

Hello,

I have a problem and despite reading the forums, I can’t find a solution.

I have Home Assistant (HA) running on a Raspberry Pi (IP 192.168.1.76).
I have a Synology NAS with IP 192.168.1.20.
My router is at 192.168.1.1.
I have a domain provided by Synology: truc.synology.me.
I have forwarded external ports 443, 80, and 5001 to my Synology.

I can access my Synology without any issues by typing its address from my mobile device (outside the Wi-Fi network). The routing is functionnal.

I have set up the reverse proxy on Synology with an SSL certificate, and it works fine locally.

However, it doesn’t work when I try accessing it from the outside.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Here is my configuration.yaml

Please help !

"Sorry for putting everything in a single image. As a new user, I can only post one image at a time.

Edit : Yes, in network of HA parameters/system the “external access” is notified “active”

Images of text are a horrible thing, which is why the pinned post asks you not to do that.

Did you check HA’s log file? Did you check the proxies log file?

No problem! I’m not familiar with the customs of forums. I’m not a geek, just a knowledgeable user

In the log of HA i found nothing (i checked Home Assistant Core, Supervisor, Host and DNS).
It record no information when i try to log from external.

And in the synology, i absolute don’t know where to found it. I checked on the logs, but no information from proxy. I checked i SSH but no files, exept if i install a ProxyServer package that i don’t need at all…

So, are you using a proxy or not?

So, are you using a proxy or not?

I’m am. The DSM reverse proxy, internal to synolgy. Not the Proxy Server package.

I FOUNDED !

It’s my router !
It does not accept request from port 443 … i don’t know why !!
I switched of the firewall, for testing. Nothing.

So the routing way : 443 → 443 NAS is not functionnal
I made a new rule : 943 → 443 NAS (943 or what we want)

And http://ha.truc.synology.me:943 is working both local or external …

Subject to close.
Good luck for thoose who have the same problem…

Thanks for your help Tinkerer.
