Not sure when it started, but I just realized that I am not longer getting the prompts to update HA in the supervisor tab. Current version is 110.4, Supervisor 225, and host HassOS 4.8.
Any thoughts?

So I never could figure this out, but I believe that it had to due with a bug on Supervisor 225. I did a force update via ssh to 111.4 and on reboot the entire Supervisor tab was blank and no add-on’s where working. I checked the forum’s on that and found someone that said the same and fixed it via a forced update to the supervisor. So I tried that and forced to Supervisor 227 and that seems to have at least fixed the blank supervisor tab and add-on’s working. Now need to wait to see if I get the new HA version updates once the next version is available.
Okay so this issue is still there, no notifications of new HA versions. Any ideas?
I’m having the same problem. I did not get an update notice for 112.5
After talking to some folks on DISCORD we did a lot of troubleshooting. In the end the only way to fix it was to reboot the host machine fully. I run hass.io in as a VM in VirtualBox so I had to restart the entire VM. That cleared it and I have been fine ever since.
The root cause seemed to be that the URL for update checks wasn’t being resolved, although using the command line it seemed to be. Either way, when you checked for a new version it couldn’t resolve so the new version check looked like there was nothing to update.
I’m running hassio native on a raspberry pi. Rebooted but haven’t seen any notification of an update available. Also binary_sensor.updater is now unavailable.
The log is showing the error below:
[homeassistant.components.updater] Timeout fetching Home Assistant update data
Sorry never had that issue with mine. Maybe head over to the Discord Chat and see if they can help you. I would try the #homeassistant_supervised channel.
