No output on the event bus for zwave

I’m trying to pick up an scene event from a fibaro dimmer to create an automation trigger. I have configured the dimmer correctly, and the event is shown in the zwave log. However, there is nothing on the event bus. It should have been displayed on the zwave.scene_activated event, but there is nothing on zwave (zwave.*) at all. What am I doing wrong?

You need to manually edit the zwcfg*.xml file to add scene support. After doing that, the scene events will be detected. https://www.home-assistant.io/docs/z-wave/device-specific/#central-scene-configuration

Thanks! There’s nothing in that doc about the Fibaro Dimmer 2. Does that mean the central scene function is not supported? It worked fine in vera.

Not every device is listed, just take the contents from something similar and adapt it to your device. You need a Value for each scene ID that is supported.
