No QR Code provided with Aeotec Z-Stick 10 Pro

I received the Z-Stick USB today from Aeotec, however neither the USB stick, the small product box, nor the white internal packaging that stabilizes the USB stick inside the small product box has a QR code or 40 numbers… I have used the “Z-Wave JS UI” adapter to add the USB to my HA, and the device shows up under Settings → Devices → Z-wave. However, when I try to add it to the dashboard and select Z-wave devices, I am prompted for the QR code, or an option to type in the 40 numbers corresponding to the code. Since I am unable to locate a QR code, I am not able to add the device to the dashboard. As this is a Saturday evening, I guess I’m stuck at this step until Monday when I can reach Technical Service at Aeotec. If anyone has a possible solution to gaining access to the QR code or can point to errors in my understanding as to the process I am using, I would greatly appreciate your input. A special note is “I am new to Home Assistance,” so errors in my understanding to the “device adding” process is likely.

Kind regards,

Jack`

The Z-stick does not need QR code. If it shows up in settings-devices-zwave, it is done . It is intalled.

Now you need some zwave devices like switches or sensors to pair with it. And for that you may need a QR code (not always necessary, but works fastest).

Thanks BebeMischa for the guidance. I got several locks and fire/CO connected today. Will add window/door and motion sensors tomorrow.
