Non-Hue Zigbee bulbs unreliable through Hue Bridge in Home Assistant, while Hue bulbs work fine

Hi all,
I am using Home Assistant with a Hue Bridge. My Hue bulbs work reliably throughout the house, but my Innr and Ecobright bulbs sometimes fail to respond properly to on/off commands. Because of that, I suspect the issue is more related to non-Hue bulbs on the Hue Bridge than to Home Assistant itself.

Questions:

  • Have others seen Innr/Ecobright behave less reliably on a Hue Bridge?
  • Is this usually a compatibility issue, or more of a mesh/routing problem?
  • Does improving the mesh still help if Hue bulbs already work fine everywhere?
  • Or is moving those bulbs to Zigbee2MQTT/ZHA the better solution?

I guess it is the bulbs. I have some Lidl ceiling lights which have the same experience. Have used Hue Bridge in the past. Moved to Zigbee2MQTT, because of not wanting to have a connection to Hue services anymore. However sometimes those ceiling lights fail to respond or turn on with the wrong color.
