I don’t know if I should worry about this. Could it be an attack on my home assistant server? Nothing appears in the log…

Hard to say for sure as you removed the ip address.
The first day: 54.240.197.51 amazon.com
The second day: 54.240.197.18 amazon.com

Sure they can. Just don’t ever post your public IP address. IP addresses on your local network are ok too, as they can not be routed over the Internet.
Do you have an Alexa device or some other Amazon cloud service?
They both are genuinely their cloud servers.

Hire Amazon aws to use Alexa in HA. I performed a series of tests to see if it worked well and then deactivates it. Right now I don’t have it in use, but maybe the account has continued to call Amazon service (AWS) … ??
