I feel like I'm in a bit of an unusual situation where I have my own local home assistant server, but also am apart of my in-law's server. They have started configuring and using push notifications for some of their automations, seemingly with the (legacy) global notify. I'm a bit perplexed at why the server is sending me notifications to my device, because all of my device permissions and entities are disabled on their server.
It would be nice if the (legacy) notification integration respected the state of the entity it's sending notifications to. It would also be nice to be able to silence notifications for a specific server on the client side, as I have no control over how they configure their notifications. I could disable notifications on the companion (Android) app, but don't want to silence notifications for my home server as well.
Is there anything I can do other than beg my in-laws to try and use the "right" notification helper?
