Notify.alexa_media_everywhere disappeared from available actions

I have used the action notify.alexa_media_everywhere in several of my automations to play messages to all my Alexa devices.

Last week, I started seeing errors like this:
Hostage Fence Alarm uses an unknown action

Error · Reported by Automation

The automation “XXXXX” (automation.XXXXX) has an unknown action: notify.alexa_media_everywhere.

This error prevents the automation from running correctly. Maybe this action is no longer available, or perhaps a typo caused it.

Looking under Developer Tools -> Actions, the action no longer exists!

Was it deleted or broken from the latest upgrade?

Actually, I realized that all my Alexa devices are now unavailable…

I don’t have the “everywhere” notification available but the rest of mine are working. I actually don’t remember the last time I saw the “everywhere” notification available since I never use it.

It’s not deleted for me… I am using HAOS.

I experienced the same - and then I noticed, that there is a new version of Alexa Media player out there.

For some reason HACS did not offer to update - so I didn’t notice.

I manually updated to v. 5.7.3 and now everything is back to normal and working fine.

To double check, for me HACS 5.7.3 + latest HA , notifications are not working at all.

Do you use another method to control / run notifications with Alex + HA ?

After the last update 5.7.8, the notify entity disappeared…

This is one of the only places I see this issue being mentioned…I lost (randomly) notify.alexa_media in a recent update to v5.7.10 (maybe v5.7.9 also)…but just today updated to v5.7.11 and it’s magically back again pretty strange and annoying!

I am now on 5.7.13 and notify.alexa_media appears to have disappeared again
