New Blueprint: Notify & Prompt for Quantity When Shopping List Item Purchased — Increments Counter!
Hi everyone!
I’m excited to share a new automation blueprint I just published: Shopping List Notification & Counter Increment. It builds on my previous blueprint for adding items to a shopping list (which you can find here) and takes it a step further.
What It Does:
- Watches a shopping list entity (todo) for an item being marked as purchased.
- Sends a mobile notification asking how many items you bought (e.g. Tide Pods).
- Lets you choose a quantity via quick-select buttons or enter it manually.
- Increments a counter entity with the purchased quantity.
- Supports optional delay before sending the notification and a configurable timeout while waiting for your reply.

This blueprint is perfect for managing home inventory — groceries, supplies, household items — all while keeping your counters accurate and automating the entire process.
