Hi all,
I ordered two NSPanel and beside using them for lighting and shutter controls (controlled by Shellys), I may want to use them for my heating too.
As an overview:
- I have a house with a heat pump, which heats the whole house with hot air instead of floor heating
- Each room has a thermostat, which is controlling some kind of PTC heating element in the air outlet of the room, only needed if the outlet temps are too low to handle the overall room temps, you could say its a kind of afterburner
- Each PTC pulls maybe >400W of power, I dont know exactly how much, but I think it wont be under that, as they are pretty fast in heeting up a single room
- I changed each thermostat from a “stupid” bimetal to some kind of Tuya BHT-006 WiFi Thermostat (16A Relais)
So, the NSPanel can only serve 2A loads, how could I anyway control this load?
My ideas are:
- Flashing the Tuya Thermostat, so its controllable and then doing some magical stuff to control the Tuya with the Heating Probe of the NSPanel via HA
- Setup some kind of 16A Relais behind the Relais of the NSPanel an just control the PTC directly
Do you have any idea for me? Maybe how to setup my first idea, or which kind of Relais I could put behind the NSPanels’ Relais to just control it directly?
Best regards
