I’m having real strange behaviors with HA lately and seems to be getting worse. I have duckdns setup and have port forwarding to route 443 and 8123 back to my HA server so I use that one https://domain.duckdns.org for both internal and external access. When it does occur I cannot ping my domain.duckdns.org from my LAN, but if I switch wifi off and access it remotely it works just fine. I can access it just fine and can use the IP 192.168.x.x:8123 so something is going on internally. It happens randomly and I don’t know what this could be. I don’t see errors in the duckdns add-on. Any suggestions?

Did you ever get anywhere with this? I’ve suddenly started having the same issue after I had to restart my machine due to having to switch off the power in the house to fit a light switch. Since then I cannot access HA from the machine that it is running on and it is very hit and miss whether I can access it from another machine.

Is there any way to change the address back to the default http://homeassistant.local:8123 as that doesn’t work now?

@tom1502 it ended up resolving on it’s own. I had another issue with the browser locking up and ended up being antivirus software on the browser plug-in so you might check that and disable it. The other thing is try accessing https (secure) by the default url you have or by ip address to access it. This is what I do when I take down my production system and restore it on a DEV box to do testing.

Thanks, mine seems to have been fixed since I rebooted the modem again. It was very strange though as I could access HA for about a minute and then it wouldn’t allow a connection. Relieved to have fixed it!

I still have this issue. Does anyone have a fix for this?
