Nuki smart lock automation based on nuki-user action

Hi there
I’m using the nuki smart lock v.1.0 in home assistant which is working more or less (slow response times etc.).
I would like to do automation based on who is currently unlocking a nuki smart lock. Is there a way to do that?

I don’t think it would be straightforward. There only seems to be one HA service directly related to Nuki (nuki.lock_n_go). You would have to use data from HA about the location of the people who occupy the house to deduce who was coming in.

IFTTT (now sadly a subscription service) has more flexible triggers allowing you to specify the user and the door. If you’re already a subscriber there might be something you could use there, though IFTTT has delays of its own.

Have you checked out the Nuki developers’ forum?

The data you need are obviously available - might be worth making a HA feature request. I’d support it.

You‘re right. I checked IFTTT right now. There you can set an action which will be triggered when a specific person opens the smart lock. This means for me, that nuki provides the data which person is using the lock. I dont like to use IFTTT.
Does someone know if the userdata is provided by nuki when I define a callback?
