I’m on the latest HA and in the last few weeks I’ve noticed that when I rename a device, I’m not getting the invitation to rename the entities any more. I’m having to do them all manually, which for some is a major headache.
Has anyone else noticed this please?

For the bulk renaming of entities by renaming the device to be possible, the entity names/id’s must start with the same thing as the device name. So if the device name is Garden light and the entities are Garden light power, Garden light energy, it will work. But if you renamed the device once (lets say to Front garden light) without renaming the entities too, it won’t work. What you can do is first rename the device to match the entities again and then rename it to what you really want it to be.

I noticed it after adding new devices, because I usually rename them after adding them, and that’s when it started happening. So they are new into the system.
I’ll see if I can recreate your scenario with a new device add.
