I am using home assistant on a raspberry pi 5 in a docker environment. Works quite well. I tried to install the official open thread border router docker container, was reading manuals and in one of the github issue threads. Unfortunately, I can’t get it to work, like a few others in this thread. Not sure why, but thread doesn’t want to communicate with HASS and matter properly, in my case.
I got thread to work with ownbee’s fork of the HASS open thread border router plugin. Not sure whether this is just a proof of concept or this project will be continued. I am concerned to set up a IOT Network on his work and I might have to start over in the near future, since this project is not continued.
Is there a official HASS Open Thread Border Router Docker Container like that one for matter? Or in planning?
