OK, What's going on with August Lock?

My August integration has stopped working. My two locks were unavailable, so I deleted the integration and re-added it. The integration connected to my account, but still doesn’t show my locks. This was previously working great for like a year. Any ideas??

I’ve actually solved this issue.

  1. Delete the configuration and restart HA.
  2. Define the august: integration in the configuration.yaml and restart HA. Instructions can be found at here.
  3. Under Integrations > August > click Configure. It will ask for an authentication code, and depending on your login_method: defined in configuration.yamlit will come to either to your phone or email.
  4. Et viola the Lock is back in HA.

In my case I had an Internet outage for about an hour, which may have resulted the August integration to timeout and the token to expire.

Just starting with home assistant and ran into this issue immediately. I’m running Home Assistant on Raspberry Pi 4 in the virtual environment.

I was able to add the August integration from the UI and everything worked fine. The next day after a reboot of my pi4, it showed my locks as unavailable. Removing and reinstalling the integration only works for a single boot. I removed and reinstalled by UI and I also tried by editing the configuration.yaml.
