➜ ~ ha host update
Command completed successfully.
➜ ~ ha supervisor update

Error: No supervisor update available - 2025.05.5

got the weird one, see the comment next to supervisor, saying it’s not loaded…
as far as I see OS 2025.05.5 is the newest… except if someone can give me the command to force a newer update.

anyone have any idea why…
the HA Pi def have internet access, I just did a core update from the cli.

Which PI ? ,

Did You never wondered why you didn’t get any OS updates, or did You ignore them ?

Have You search this Forum(or Google) as You are the 3rd or 4th recently, Who wonder/have problems updating OS and Supervisor !

What is your Python Version ? ( Current is 3.14.2 )

PS: Yes i know none of what im asking, doesn’t in clear-text explain where your Apps-Folder/Url is

This is a RPI 4, 2GB RAM, been the host for good 2-3 years.
My auto update notification stopped working quite a while back after one of the updates so just been manually doing ha core update.
I normally did a HA core update one a month, totally missed the base os…
what is the newest OS version, whats the command, as I’ve tried the above and it implies there is nothing newer.
Python => 3.12.9

Is there potentially a tick box somewhere that causes the apps option under settings to end hidden?

happy to upgrade anything/everything needed. just need some assistance, pls

G

17.2

Not that i know of, that particular “issue” is a mystery to me  , i assume you have tried the basics, Clearing cache, Everything ! in your browser,and/or tried from other Devices

What’s Your Frontend Version ?

how do i figure out front end version ?

some reason get this when trying to do os update

➜ ~ ha os update
Processing... Done.

Error: 'OSManager.update' blocked from execution, no supervisor internet connection

even though as I said I can do ha core update.

Yes but the old Supervisor probably prevent you from installing newer OS and visaversa

ok, so how we fix this then?
G

thinking baby step upgrades…
G

Go back into the CLI and type in the following:

ha supervisor repair
ha supervisor restart

1 way is the obvious, install New HAOS, from scratch  … i know, you don’t like to hear that :joy:

The “Cumbersome” way is to read Release Note fromway back, where your System “Halted”
Home Assistant OS 15.2 was about April 2025
Home Assistant Supervisor 2025.06 ( June ; ) , and as you have 2025-05 ( That wold be May )

Now the tricky part is Supervisor is “Kinky” , it normally update automatically If the “dependencies” are uptodate
For Certain Pi4(old 32 BIT versions) Summer 25, was end of life( As in HA Context ! ), sort of , So you have to look that up also ! … Before trying to manually update, Version by version

And what does your Observer page tells You ?

think my problem is something else atm… it does not want to do a upgrade, even a small one…

Error: 'OSManager.update' blocked from execution, system is not running - startup
➜ ~ ha os update --version 15.5
Processing... Done.

Error: 'OSManager.update' blocked from execution, system is not running - startup
➜ ~

well this is at least a different error…

➜ ~ ha os update --version 15.3
Processing... Done.

Post "http://supervisor/os/update": dial tcp 172.30.32.2:80: connect: no route to host

And You have performed a total Reboot ? … Not Restart ! , And please verify that you Don’t run a 32Bits Pi4
