I migrated my Zigbee network from ZigStar LAN Gateway with CC2652P to SLZB-MR4U with CC2674P10. Migration itself was smooth and all is working fine, so for Home Assistant.
I did find something odd, 2 things actually. The first is that it still shows my Zigbee coordinator as a “Texas Instruments CC2652” and the second is that in the Zigbee integration there’s only 1 hub with all, but the hub still has the old IP address shown (socket://<old.ipa.ddr.ess>:6638). The network information shows the correct socket, and all devices are working, so it’s just cosmetic, but I found it a bit odd… I have rebooted in the mean time, that didn;t change anything.
‘Migration’ is really you clone the IEEE address and whatever else it takes from the old to the new, and the new one becomes the old one. Also what that means is you can’t have both sticks plugged in any longer because they both identify as the same stick.
Take the old one out. Sell it. Toss it. Find a way to give it a different IEEE number. Take your choice.
Also you did not say Z2M or ZHA. I remember something about having to rename or remove the Z2M backup folder / files after you do a clone so that it reads the new stick and finds it’s home again. That should be in the instructions somewhere, but certainly if you search the forum you will find that.
I have not done any of this, but have read the questions and answers about it here for years.
I understand that it still shows the old TI information as it transfered the radio identification information from the old to the new devics. And I did unplug my old Zigstar stick immediately after the migration completed.
But that the integration still shows the old Zigstar socket config is weird. I know it’s not actually using it, because the Zigstar is offline, and when drilling down to network config it shows the new socket config.
