I want to use HA for basic features on my local network such as controlling lights. I installed the core package on a Debian bookworm system (I want to be able to configure the firewall later as per my needs, I think the appliance does not allow that?) I had to pick the last 2024 package as the default OS python version did not show the 2025 version.
When I try to onboard the system, it does not seem to get past the address/location questions without internet access. Is there a way to do this completely offline? From another thread it seems there is a need for NTP server, can it use local system time instead?
