I have a shared garage with other people, basically it’s a big garage with only one entrace where is a gate and it can be opened with a normal rf signal (I think on 433Mhz, but not sure) my needing is to open this gate with Home assistant but I don’t know how to register the RF signal and replicate it from PI3/hassio… anyone can help me to understand it? Which hardware I have to buy? I need an RF gateway? I saw the broadlink RF Pro, but I see that the RF range is max 15 meters. Any suggestion?

There is no point in buying anything or advising anything until you determine what signal or protocol is used. If you need to go long distances, you may be out of luck. Remote openers are usually an encoded signal (rolling codes etc) so that it isn’t easy to break into. You may be able to use an additional opener and use the GPIO pins on a Pi to close the button contacts of the opener. Just speculation, since you need to find out exactly technology is used.
