I built an open-source ESP32 gateway for Bluetooth-enabled LiTime batteries and wanted to share it with the Home Assistant crowd because a lot of the use case overlaps with BLE battery/BMS monitoring, ESP32s, remote visibility, and energy dashboards.
What it does today:
- Reads LiTime battery telemetry over BLE from an ESP32
- Serves a local browser dashboard from the ESP32
- Shows pack voltage/current/power, SOC, capacity, temperatures, and per-cell voltages
- Includes a setup Wi-Fi flow for first-time configuration
- Can optionally connect outbound to a Cloudflare Worker for a read-only remote dashboard
- Does not require router port forwarding
- Does not expose charge/discharge controls

This is not a Home Assistant integration yet, and it is not meant to replace a shunt, BMS, charger controller, disconnect, or any safety system. It is just a way to make the battery’s own Bluetooth telemetry easier to see from a local browser or an optional read-only remote page.
I would be especially interested in feedback from people who have worked with ESPHome Bluetooth proxy setups, BLE BMS integrations, or RV/off-grid battery dashboards in Home Assistant. If there is a clean path to expose this telemetry into HA later, I would love to hear what shape would be most useful.
