Hi,
just wanted to use a Waveshare 4.2 V2 ePaper Display with an ESP32-C6. All worked with ESPhome, the correct GPIO configuration and a patched library (source: github://pr#6209).
Then I brought the same up and running with openDisplay and “Advanced: edit packets” defining the correct GPIOs and not Seeed defaults.
With the openDisplay web test access all works! I also could integrate the display into Home Assistant via Bluetooth and it is visible in the devices and the bluetooth connected map. But it is not working?
In the entity I noticed: 4.1" Mono for the display I never entered?!
- Is HA doing his own configurations ignoring the openDisplay ones before?
Is there someone who gives me a hint?
