Opower asks me to add "compensation" entity but no such entity exists

I just received this update from Opower:

We found negative values in your existing consumption statistics, likely because you have solar. We split those in separate return statistics for a better experience in the Energy dashboard.

Please visit the Energy configuration page to add the following statistics in the Return to grid section:

Opower pge elec xx compensation
Opower pge elec xx return

Once you have added them, ignore this issue.

The thing is, I don’t have a “compensation” entity. I have “consumption” but I don’t see how that’s relevant to “return” either. What’s going on here?

I don’t know what entities opower is or isn’t creating, but compensation is the amount of money you are paid for your returned energy.

E.g.
Grid consumption → Grid Cost
Grid return → Grid Compensation
