Os keeps failing

I have a Home Assistant OS installed on a raspberry pie using tail scale. It’s a raspberry pie three with one gigabyte. Once a day a monitor notices the tail scale connection has been lost to the Home Assistant. The HA still seems to be operating locally ok. I have monitored the hardware memory usage nd it shows around 62% with a slight drift upwards but it doesn’t seem to go above 80% without falling back down again , looking at the supervisor logs you can see that the Tailscale has been killed by the OS . from what I think I can deduce it implies that the supervisor found a out of memory issue and killed Tailscale. It’s odd that It always kills tail scale. It’s odd that the memory doesn’t seem to grow up the only way to fix the problem is to reboot the raspberry pie reload in the Home assistant doesn’t correct it other than that everything is working fine so at the moment I have a monitor going and when it spots the Home Assistant connection has dropped off from within tail scale it ping me a notification and I power off and on the raspberry pie which is not ideal as you can imagine. this morning it behaved slightly differently in failing it failed just before 9 am before I rebooted it. I attempted to get hold of the host log and while it was loading the whole Home Assistant locked up I rebooted trying to get hold of the whole log again and it locked again and I rebooted. I’ve attached the supervisor log for I think the complete period anyhow will be greatly appreciated thank you.

I don’t seem to be able to attach the log. I will keep trying.

I also have 2026.8. I did try to go to 9 but it wouldn’t install. I’ve put that to one side for now

The Pi3 is no longer recommended hardware.

  1. You should consider reading How to help us help you - or How to ask a good question
  2. like the others said: Pi3 is unsupported/unrecommended Hardware and if I were you Id either:
superlazy and inefficiently: Buy a PI5 and burn alot of Money
OR get something like a NUC/a HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Mini (or any other reasonable Thin Clients)
