Newbie here,
Looking for advice, point in right direction. I have a Kasa Matter Smart Plug w/ Energy Monitoring connected and working in HA. It is connected to a underground heat trace cable that runs to my son’s tiny home. It uses ALOT of energy and I’m trying to save him money (tight budget).
I am/was an HVAC technician and I would like to cylce this based on Outdoor air temperature.
Example: If OAT is between 0C and -5C, enable 10minutes per hour
If OAT is between -5C and -10C, enable 15minutes per hour

This will be my first automation. Not looking for someone to write my code. Looking to learn !
