When I installed a plug I use for my sump pump, it listed four items it displays. How can I tuck those somewhere like if i click on the switch, it shows the information there rather than where the devices are?
Change the card type / config… what are you using?

Create a card for the pump. Try making two single cards first, one of type Button and another one of type Gauge. Then connect the smart plug to these.
Once you get it working, you can tidy up the UI by combining these two on a card of type Grid.
When i go to edit the dashboard I get this? I thought originally I created my own dashboard but it looks like this one now is owned by HA, and I have to take control. Is there a dashboard video?
