OverKiz & 2 Somfy connectivity kits

Hi

I have a TaHoma account which I use to connect my blinds via a Somfy Connectivity kit. I use OverKiz in HA to run scenes automatically and that all works fine.

I bought a second Somfy Connectivity kit to control a set of blinds which I have under the same TaHoma account.

Somehow it doesn’t appear in my HA integration. I expected that the kit plus entities would appear in the OverKiz integration but it doesn’t. I seem to make a thinking mistake but I can’t figure out what.

Who knows how to solve this?

Do you own two Somfy Connectivity Kits, in different locations? And they are both configured with the same account?

I am not sure if we support this today, you can create a bug report on GitHub with your diagnostics and we can have a look.

Thank you Mick. Yes I have an annex next to my house running its own HA and infrastructure.

I could open a second account specifically for this purpose but I thought it could be managed from one single account.

I will open an issue. Is this a bug or a feature in your opinion?

Not sure… Let’s classify it as a bug for now; not sure how the API looks like when you have multiple hubs linked to the same account.

Thanks Mick! I will do that!

Appreciated!

Ed

Hi everyone,

I’m facing a similar issue on my setup.
I currently use both a TaHoma box and a Connectivity Kit, both linked to the same account (glad to see Somfy finally enabled multi-site management).

I need two gateways because my TaHoma is too far from the back of the garden to reach the equipment in my veranda.

Here is the problem: whether I use the "cloud" or "local" mode via the Overkiz integration in Home Assistant, the TaHoma devices show up perfectly, but I cannot get the Connectivity Kit to appear. I also tried using the HomeKit Controller integration, but it doesn't detect any devices from the kit either.

Any help appreciated
Nico

This issue is tracked in: OverKiz doesn’t see the second connection kit · Issue #168732 · home-assistant/core · GitHub. Unfortunately in the diagnostics there is only a single account, thus I am not sure what Somfy does for multi account setups.

For now, you might be able to link your gatways to multiple accounts and add it to Home Assistant.

The diagnostics are done with the multiple connection kits in a single account. In the TaHoma app it functions well. As discussed if you ad the account to HA only one kit plus devices shows. The other is not to be found n

I meant, you will need to add the gateway to multiple accounts (so multiple email addresses). You can follow the progress in the issue, but we don't support Somfy multiple connections today.

I understand Mick. I already appreciate the effort. I have installed 2 accounts and that works perfectly fine. Thanks again!
