Hey guys -
so for domains such as lights and fans where there are levels when setting devices to on - eg. 50% brightness or low/med/high, does anyone know if there is a way to override the default on level of a device when it is controlled through HASS? So for example, when my fan is turned on through frontend or alexa, it goes to high - which I personally find to be annoying.
You sure thatās not your device? My devices remember previous brightness states. When I call turn on from alexa, she just turns them on at whatever brightness they were at when turned off unless i specify āto 100%ā.

to clarify, Iām using alexa -> emulated hue -> hass
I donāt have any fans, but certainly for lights and volumes I get the same behaviour as @petro where if I switch something off, when I switch it back on it will be the same level unless specified otherwise.
I have fans and they behave the same way as lights.
What component are you using? Iām wondering if perhaps this is related to that as mine always revert to 100% either way, I donāt want ālast usedā - I want to set the default behavior
