OwnTracks not showing on map unless I am in a Zone

I just switched over to OwnTracks from Zanzito when updating to HASSIO 83.3. It seems to be working for the most part. I notice the OwnTracks device tracker only shows up on the map when I am in a zone. Anyone know what is going on here?

I have hide_if_away set to false in my known_devices.yaml file.

I dropped the use of own tracks. The accuracy was so much worse than zanzito.
