Long time lurker, first time poster.
I recently acquired a PakEdge 8I PDU and was looking for a way to integrate it with Home Assistant.
After some mucking around with Telnet commands as automations, I ended up biting the bullet and writing my first custom integration to solve the problem in a much neater way.
It utilises Telnet to connect and control the PDU, as it does not appear the 8I was equipped with SNMP.
I’ve got no experience with Pakedge products prior to this, so I have no idea if it works on any other models, but in theory, if their firmware stayed relatively similar between models, it should work with any other Telnet equipped models.
Would love to hear any feedback, or your experience using it with other Pakedge models.
