Hi everyone, I have a Paradox alarm system which is compatibile with the IP150’s module series. As I’d like to integrate it in HA I’ve read lots of documentation and it seems that the main (and maybe only) prerequisite is the firmware version 4.x , with the 5.x or above the HA integrations will not work.
So far I haven’t been able to find a reseller that sells IP150 with the old 4.x firmware.
Do you guys have found out a solution? either a different local module or maybe you have managed to integrate >5 firmware modules in HA?
I’m getting a bit confused: you said that your 150+ is working with HA with the latest firmware, but you also said that newer firmware is not? so, what firmware has your 150+ got at the moment? What HA integration are you using?
Also, what is this prt3 thing?
Have you tried the password trick?
I dont know if I have babyware , the system is quite old , it should be Magellan series
Hi.
Babyware is software what connects from win pc to paradox if you have 150 or 150+.
You can get from some resellers of paradox online.
Before you try connecting ha, you have to get to know installer and panel passwords. (Maybe you know from your installer)
So. Where is the confusion in my previous text-- it says in documents it does not work with new firmware. But it actually does. Probably Dev of pai has sorted that.
You can search for “paradox prt3” this is printer board which gives you serial port for automation.
But 150 for lan is better option (if it works of course)
