I have a few FIDO2 devices such as Yubikeys and would like to use them with home assistant. According to this website: Websites that Use and Support Passkeys: Passkey Supported Sites Directory HASS is already implementing it? I am not finding a way to do so. I mean passwordless logins PASSKEY not 2FA or MFA, that I already have an authenticator app for.
Home Assistant may be listed on that website because the forum software they use (Discourse) does support Passkeys. At this point in time however, I do not believe there are any active, publicly visible, efforts to add Passkeys/Fido2/Webauthn to Home Assistant core or OS. The most recent pull request I’m aware of wasn’t accepted by the core team (apparently not due to the concept but to the specific implementation) in November of last year: Add webauthn auth provider by VDigitall · Pull Request #122725 · home-assistant/core · GitHub
