Paulmann Wireless Twilight Sensor Motion Detect: No pairing

I’m using a gateway dresden electronic ConBee II on a HAGreen.
Paired some devices everything is fine.
Have now a new “Paulmann Wireless Twilight Sensor Motion Detect” Zigbee 3.0
Tried to pair this but was not successful.

Did somebody manage to include this device?
Can somebody provide some info how to do this?
Thanks for a feedback.

Are you using Deconz? I’m not sure if this is the same device, but you might have more luck with device support using something else, Z2M for example.

Yes I’m using Deconz.
The sensor is labelled with Zigbee3. I guess that’s the problem.
Ok, I try to pair it with ZIGBEE2MQTT
I report feedback when I tried it.
Thanks

Not quite, it is the non-existing support of the device in Deconz that is the problem, not that it is Zigbee 3.0.

Just remember that you cannot run both Deconz and Z2M using the same Conbee. If you are moving over to Z2M, uninstall Deconz.

Finally had the time to reconfigure everything.

  • Removed all devices in Deconz integration
  • Removed Deconz integration
  • Added Z2M integration
  • Added all devices to Z2M
  • Setup everything as before.

Then tried to pair the Paulmann sensor not successfully.
I tried the pairing close to the adapter.
The adapter is on an extension cable.
Reset the sensor according the following link.
https://en.paulmann.com/smart-home/products/outdoor-sensor/

Nothing helps.
Appreciate any help. Thanks

Further information:
Had a chance to try to pair with a coordinator Home Assistant Connect ZBT-2.
Result: Not successfull.
Asked in link:

No answer.
I only can confirm that it’s not possible!
It’s a pity

How? Is it pairing as unknown or not pairing at all? Anything in the Z2M logs?

It does not pair at all. The log says nothing:

Have you pressed “permit join”?
