Permission to edit/overwrite the configuration.yaml file

I dont have permisjon to edit/overwrite the configuration.yaml file. any one know how to fix it .
Permission denied.
Error code: 3
Error message from server: Permission denied

Found it … it’s just to take time to read the install info :slight_smile:

First create a new session on WinSCP using Protocol SCP pointing to your Pi IP address and port 22 and then modify the needed setting by click on Advanced… -> Environment -> SCP/Shell -> Shell and selecting sudo su -.

just for references as somebody else search for it:
If you use Hassbian, this don’t work enough. you have to set the SFTP-server protocol (advanced tab > SFTP) to the right location of SFTP: it’s : sudo su -c /usr/lib/openssh/sftp-server
