Thank you so much for this integration, so far it’s working flawlessly!

Here’s one feature request that I would suggest: providing a way to hide controls and configuration settings separately so that we can use this card on a dashboard just for monitoring purposes.

Or, as an alternative (ideally), a way to specify which controls, configuration inputs and sensors we want to display on the card.

Hey, thanks for this integration. I just started with home assistant, connected my litter robot and wanted to get a smart water fountain. I got the Petkit Eversweet Max (Cordless). But after installing the integration I realized if I don’t have any other Petkit devices, it apparently doesn’t work but that you are looking into that? So far, I can only add my cats, which doesn’t help much.
Is there any ETA for being able to add the fountain?

Yes, that’s correct at the moment the Bluetooth fountains only work through a relay via another Petkit device. However, standalone Bluetooth (local) support is planned and will be coming soon. Stay tuned!

Im currently using the [home-assistant-petkit] integration from HACS, and wondering if there are any benefits to switch to this one? One main benefit I think would be the dispenser schedule, but I have a fresh element solo feeder and from what I can see in the GH issues this is not yet supported. Thanks for guidance on this!

I may have goofed my integration up because I had the old Petkit integration, but got the new Dual Hopper feeder which wasn’t supported. So I deleted the old device from my app, deleted the old integration from HA, and then downloaded and installed this one. Now I’m trying to set it up and getting the following error:

Error

Config flow could not be loaded: 500 Internal Server Error Server got itself in trouble

Is there some way to wipe the cache or something and clear out all the old Petkit integration details and start from scratch? Or is there another way I need to set up the integration?

Hi @cngastineau,
You actually didn’t need to go through all that trouble . As mentioned in the README, you can just install my integration on top of the old one without deleting anything the migration is handled automatically and you don’t need to wipe or reset anything manually.

Try reinstalling the integration directly, restart HA and it should take care of the migration for you.

To be honest, I was trying to troubleshoot the old integration and was doing all of that before I realized that it wouldn’t work with the new model and then found this integration. Anyway, after multiple uninstalls, reinstalls, restarts, and more restarts I finally see the integration in the device settings and got it working! No clue what I did that actually did the fix, but glad it is working now!

Is getting a live video feed from a Pura MAX 2 possible with their API or is there no way to do it? I would love a way to get a video feed, convert it on Onvif so I can get it saved to my Unifi UNVR

Hi there,

I really love the integration, however, I am not able to set up an automation that triggers my YumShare Dual Hopper (D4SH) to initiate feeding. Manually I can enter the integration, type in a number and hit the enter button…

I have been trying this automation code, yet, without success.

Everything you described above is supposed to work.
I tested it myself and it works normally and the food is dispensed.
Did you retry ?

Hi! I just received the Eversweet Solo 2 fountain and added it to HA through your integration.
Unfortunately, I’m not seeing any control entities — only information. So I can’t change schedules, lights, turn on/off/smart mode, and so on.

I also own a PuraMax 2, but it’s too far from the fountain to act as a good relay. Tomorrow I’ll receive the feeder, so I’ll have another relay… but I don’t think that’s the issue here.

It’s possible to control the fountain?

Not for now you can’t control Fountain. (Only reset filter)
This feature had an issues open on the GitHub

If I can help in some way, let me know.

Command the fountain and set parameters will be so cool (set long off periods during the night than the day, turn on when ipcamera detect the cat in zone and so on ).
What’s the issue #?

Thanks for the integration! My Litter Box (Pura Max) got blocked by pekit so I can’t connect it to their api. Is there a way to integrate it locally?
