Philips Hue Lights showing as RGB and Temperature in iOS Home App

In some latest updates… Few of my hue lights in iOS Home app via Home Assistant are showing 2 sections - RGB and Temperature.

I don’t want that to happen. I just want it to show as normal switch with on/off compatibility.

Any way I can do this? Entity show as light in HA.

This is because some lights are integrated with Hue which don’t have these capabilities and this is making easy switch on and off cumbersome via Home app… I have to drag RGB to 0% to switch off and choose a colour. Instead of just click on / off (if that made any sense)

Thanks

bump

any help folks… :frowning:

I too have noticed the same issue and there doesnt appear to be any obvious work around

@salty2011 do you know which version broke it? I jumped quite a few so don’t know… would rather roll back… has broken many of my integrations

Same issue here… Any workarounds yet?

I’ve got the same issue here with my Tasmota down lights. Clicking on the icon in the app no longer functions as a switch to turn the lights on/off, it opens the rgb/temperature options.

FYI

Thanks @jdb85 So guess its coming soon in some release  Didn’t follow the whole thing but saw a commit… wasn’t sure if its a fix or a workaround and we need to do some YAML config

No worries! Yeah i’m not sure exactly how they are remediating it. The fix is available in a dev version of the homekit integration but I think i’ll just wait until it’s pushed with an upcoming release
