I just bought 5 pico W, and realized they are fake 
… I would like to connect them to my esphome, but I´m not able because the wifi chip is 3rd party,
I wish Esphome would release an update saying that they will now also accept 8285 chips, because I know many people have the same issue.

Where did you buy them? Were they advertised as RP2040 processors?
