Picture of NUC in Settings-System-Hardware

Is there a way to set a picture of my NUC in the Settings → System → Hardware?

Huh? Picture where? On your phone? On a picture card? On your television?

If you use a Raspberry PI or Yellow or Green it looks like this:

But if you use a NUC you will see nothing

I’ve never used Home Assistant on a Yellow or Green. I suspect that you are looking at a webpage card that is a link to the documentation for the Yellow.

Why do you want a picture of the Intel NUC on your front-end? Or do you want a link to something else?

You can edit the dashboard and add a webpage card to point to any website or YouTube video you wish. Or add a picture card and put a picture of your Intel NUC there.

It’s just a settings page (Settings-System-Hardware).

To the original question, I don’t believe there’s any way to change/add a picture.

Then it would be easy to make one with a webpage card and a generic image of the Intel NUC computer.

You can’t create a card on any of the settings pages (including the Hardware page). Cards can only go in dashboards.

Edit: I think I get what you meant. Add a webpage card in the dashboard which points to the hardware page, and a picture card with the nuc right above it.

Yes, you said it better than I did.
I can see why you would want this on a green or yellow, but anyone installing on an Intel NUC would be using the generic X86 image and the list of compatible X86 computers is huge. Using an image of an Intel NUC might confuse a user of a Dell Optiplex.

  1. If you read my first correctly you can see where I want that picture
  2. Theres not only a picture for Yellow or Green. That’s written in the third post. There is a picture for Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 also
  3. I think it would look nicer to have a picture of my personal Hardware where I’m running Home Assistant on it. E.g. a picture of my NUC under Settings → System → Hardware
