Ping IP from HA CLI

Just installed HA on a computer, after starting it the CLI comes up but I can’t access it from another machine on my local network.
I’d like to ping the router from the HA machine but I don’t know how. Can only work with the CLI and from what I saw there is no ping command.

What I see:

Hello HomeGuy,

Install this and run it from here…

Thanks, but:

  1. How do I install it?
  2. Does this mean that HA without any addons can’t be accessed by other computers in the local network?

It means you are not root there. That’s an add-on. Go to add-ons and install it.
Open your Home Assistant instance and show your Supervisor dashboard.

I can’t go to “add-ons”, I can only see the cli in the aforementioned screenshot and my computer can’t access the HA machine, as stated in my post.

Try “network info” and see what you get

Just type login at that ha prompt and hit enter. Then ping whatever you want.

You are certainly root there (in the picture he posted).
