PIR sensor dsappeared

I have a Zwave pir sensor available in openzwave but not in HASS.

How to fix this?

  1. Check your OZW_log whether it’s not considered dead.
  2. Run a Z-wave heal
  3. Remove zwcfg_xxxxxx.yml from homeassistant’s configuration folder and restart hass

Thanks will try it

where is this?

EDIT found in hass directory: file is very very big, don’t know what to look for

no, not working this way.

What else can I try?

Do the following:

delete the OZW_log file

restart hass, and immediately do:

tail -f OZW_log.txt

look for lines that have “Error” in them, e.g.:

2017-04-19 12:32:39.577 Error, Node005, ERROR: ZW_SEND_DATA could not be delivered to Z-Wave stack

Notice the Node005 - this is the Z-wave that is having connection troubles.

Also don’t forget to delete your home-assistant.log and the OZW_log.txt files. I personally keep mine in a tmpfs to not overuse the SD Card, as it can easily get corrupted, but this is somewhat advanced topic and can have wipe out your installation.

I have this error

Which one is your PIR?! Is it Node003 or Node005?

Node 005 is asleep so if this is your PIR and it is running on batteries it could take a while to poll and fetch its data.

If it is 003 - I think there’s an issue with connecting to it - run z-wave/heal multiple times.

The Node3 is working fine.

The problem is Node005. And is like this since 24 hours

First is Node5 (the PIR sensor with problems)
Second is Node 1 (the stick)
Third is Node2 (the other PIR sensor, working)
Fourth is Node3 the power plug, which works

try to wake it up. See in the sensors’ manual how to wake it up and keep it awake for some time until it’s refreshed by hass.
