I’m in the process of getting a home battery to complement my PV installation, and I’m considering the Pixii Home.
According to the tech sheet it supports MQTT, and I’ve gotten the complete documentation for MQTT and Modbus over TCP from the maker of the battery. But before I get started trying to hack together an integration on my own, I was just wondering if anyone else here has that model of battery and if so, have you integrated it with Home Assistant?
I have the Pixii home battery since 1½ years back. I have been trying to get my hand on the MQTT and/or modbus command documentation. I have emailed Pixii but with no reply.
So I have not gotten anywhere in trying to control the battery yet, but have set up so that I can read all the data comming off the battery.
Setting up the integration is not that hard in the GUI of the Pixii battery. There are two brokers you can set up. You can use one for the pixii (local broker) app comms and the other to communicate with your own Mosquitto server.
Is there any chance for you to share the documentation you recieved from Pixii?
I like the fact that integrating it into HA is as easy as pointing it to my Mosquitto, basically.
I’m curious about the noise levels of the actual battery. I’ve read that the fans can go quite hard. Have you noticed anything from the battery? Is there any difference betweeen summer and winter?
