Yale Assure 2 unavailable in HA after Inclusion

Week old newbie to HA… I recently purchased a Yale Assure 2 Door Lock with Z-wave and am looking to pair this smart lock to HA but am having issues.

HA: Is being run in a VM on my Unraid server.
Z-wave controller: A brand new Zooz 800 Series Long Range USB Controller
Door Lock: Yale Assure 2 w/ Z-wave module

I am using Z-Wave JS integration in HA

The issue I am having is after going through the inclusion process to get the lock connected to HA, within seconds it becomes “unavailable” in HA. For three few seconds it is connected the integration seems to work fine. What am I doing wrong?

I don’t have a solution, but I can at least report that I have the same problem with a new Yale Assure 2 SL deadbolt (YRD410-ZW2). That is, everything is “unavailable” — and most things I expect aren’t even there. (Door status, etc.)

Everything works fine in the Yale app (over direct Bluetooth, I think?).
