Looks like your are unlucky.
When I have time I can to try investigate what is needed to make the plugwise_usb code “understand” what your Stick answers back.
I can already answer now, the 0011-response is indeed too short.
Looks like the Stick and Circle+ are not linked.
There’s nothing I can do, as far as I know now, sorry.
No problem, I already thought it was that way before I saw your message about version *.25. Thanks for the effort anyway!
I hope someone can help me with my similar problem.
I have used source, stick, circle+ and circles - stealth -switch and sensor for many years. Not the newer devices like stretch Anaa, etc.
In the past I could transfer source to a new computer but now that seems not possible anymore. So I purchased the greenbox with HA and followed the instructions to install Plugwise usb beta and relocated the stich to the greenbox. Somehow the stick and circle+ are working. I can switch the circle+ from the dashboard and energy measurement comes in also. In the list of devices also another circle is found and the switch. Both are not working in the dashboard but the switch still operates the lamp connected via that circle. (this was programmed with source in the past)
There are quite a number of circles plugged in an outlet around the circle+ but none of them are found. When I go to: Settings > devices > Plugwise USB Beta > 4 Devices I get all 4 on screen.
Clicking + add device gives a pop-up asking for connection to Plugwise stick. Selecting /dev/ttyUSB0-FT232 USB uart- etc. and transmit the reaction is: device already configured.
So for my it stops here. Has anyone any idea to proceed? Thanks in advance; Hans
Latest version of ha and the Plugwise beta integration?
As far as I know yes. The green box was purchased with HA installed. Where can I find the plugwise version?
Here you can find more info
Hello Edwin,
It seems we are on the same status. Only difference is that in the HA list the circle+ is noted and distinquished from the circle and switch. So hopefully someone can help us out
Kind Regards, Hans
