PoE Weather Station (local)?

Hi Folks,

Im searching for an PoE powered Weather Station. Can somebody recommend something that works well with HA?

It’s not PoE but the Weatherflow Tempest is an outstanding solar powered wifi unit that has excellent integration with HA. I’ve had mine for over a year now and it’s never died and reports real-time to a hub within wifi range.

thanks for your reply. i’ll have a look at it. but i would prefer a cable-connected and PoE powered Device if possible

I’m guessing you want something out-of-the-box rather than DIY?

if possible, then yes. otherwise would DIY also be an Option…

I don’t know of any off-the-self devices but DIY is pretty easy using ESPhome. There are a few devices with PoE that are supported so it’s then just a case of hooking up something like this to it and coding in the appropriate GPIO.

It’s actually something on my TODO list.
