I currently have a (Fake - Apparently) Hamgeek POE Zigbee coordinator. It acts much like the Zigstar 01, but I don’t think the firmware will work on it.
Broadly it is fine, it was dead cheap (Aliexpress) and works with my PoE network switch.
However, it will, every once in a while, ‘crash’. It sometimes can be revived by rebooting the ESP or Zigbee components via the mqtt integration in Home assistant. Other times I have to power cycle the device (by pulling the POE Ethernet). The frequency of crashes is possibly 1 or 2 times per month - so no so regular, but also enough to be annoying.
As more and more things are starting to rely on the Zigbee network being up, I’m looking for a more reliable coordinator - primarily considering those which come with HA Community recommendations (i.e. not aliexpress ‘fake’ reviews).
Please recommend POE Network Zigbee coordinators you have experience of - I’m particularily looking for ones people consider to be ‘rock solid’.
