I just started with HA, I downloaded te X86 image 14.2, installed in on the M.2 media with the aid of an usb adapter and Balena. Installed the M.2 in the mini PC with Intel J1900 cpu, 32G/4GB, and it booted right up.
So far so good, on the attached screen after boot, I see the IP 192.168.1.224/24 and port 8123 for HA and port 4357 for the Observer.
On my other Windows PC in the same network I can visit homeassistant.local:4357 but homeassistant.local:8123 is not reacting. The browser gives a load error.
I also tried 192.168.1.224:8123 but no result!
Ping is working to the IP, but Angry IP scanner only can find port 4357. The port 8123 is not showing. I also tried other PC’s and browsers but port 8123 is not usable.
I tried with the CLI command supervisor update en also supervisor repair > no change.
Maybe this ~10y old device has issues with higher lan ports?
Before this miniPC setup, I had a succesfu installation on an Acer PC that worked fine with port 8123 in the same network, but I like to change from this 40W PC to an 8W mini PC.
So I like to try with another port, but how can I change the port from the HA CLI?
Or any other ideas?
I found a solution in re-installing from usb. I loaded the usb again now with extracted image, not the .xz file.
