I already have 1 ZWA-2 connected to my primary HAOS instance via a Waveshare POE device.
I'd like to add to more with a similar configuration. It's my understanding you can only run one ZWAVE JS/UI instance on HAOS and any others would need to be in a container.
Does anyone have a step-by-step guide to adding a Zwave JS container to Proxmox and connecting a ZWA-2 via a Waveshare ESP-POE device to it?
You can do it with almost zero effort because Proxmox now allows you to run Docker containers directly. Basically, it is an LXC, but you use a Docker image.
But why? Then you would have two different Z-Wave networks. Maybe there is some distance between them, but I’d think you could solve that with a couple of Z-Wave range extenders. I’m using the Range extender from Ring. They are easy to setup and not expensive
