I have play a little with my HA at home, only with Z-wave devices (at this moment ? 
) via Z‐Stick Gen5 USB Controller.
I search how it’s possible to remove old Self-learning Room
Temperature Controller REV23RF and Receiver REV-R.02/1 on my home to replace by Z-wave device(s) if possible.
(and the REV-R.02/1 will be lose connection per moment, it’s very old now )
At this time, I have underfloor heating on the ground floor fully managed by ecoTEC plus with multiMATIC VRC 700 on it (not deported, but on the futur, yes)
At the first floor, per room, I have one heating valve with Spirit
by Eurotronics.
When REV-R.02/1 receive signal to heating the first floor by controller (unique controller for 6 rooms :'(), I will open Siemens Acvatix SFP21/18 Electromotoric actuator, 135 N, 2.5 mm, AC 230 V, 2P via output contact
(ground floor/water/first floor are combination with a 3-port valve for information)
The boiler control too heating of water : A beautiful auroSTEP plus with solar heating 
My idea to manage all with HA :
- ebusd one per device (ecotec + aurostep) : eBUS Adapter Shield C6 Stick Edition with addon module USR-ES1 for ethernet connection (it’s good for solar ?)
- change the REV-R.02/1 by another Receiver (Z-wave will be better) with output contact for Electromotoric actuator
- remove REV23RF and each valve will be controller per room
For replace REV-R.02/1, I have found on the past Secure SSR303 but it’s discontinued and I never see a new device to replace it.
The but is :
- EcoTec keep control on firstfloor and heating water
=> manage this by ebusd - When a room at first floor will heating, request to open electronic vlave
=> manage by ???
Any idea for that ? Or it’s impossible ?
